January 29, 2026: 7:30 PM Crews continue to work throughout the night to safely restore service to customers in Wayne County.

Hope Gas crews will continue to work through the night to restore service and relight appliances after safety checks are performed at the homes of customers affected by the service disruption. If you are not home when Hope Gas personnel arrive to light appliances, please contact Hope Gas at 1-800-688-4673 to schedule an appointment of service restoration.

The following warming stations are available in your area.


This station will provide sleeping accommodations if necessary:

- Wayne United Methodist Church, 615 Cleveland Street, Wayne, WV.

These warming stations do not provide sleeping facilities:

- Kenova Police Department located at 1501 Pine Street in Kenova, WV.

- 1st Baptist Church located at 1120 Poplar Street in Kenova, WV; please call 573-529-3378 before arriving.

- Dunlow Community Center, located at 1475 Left Fork Dunlow Bypass Road in Dunlow, WV.

The following warming stations are available only to residents of Fort Gay, WV and are located in Louisa, Kentucky:

- Lawrence Community Center, located in 205 Bulldog Lane in Louisa, Kentucky.

- 1st Baptist Church, located at 301 W Pike Street in Louisa, Kentucky.

SAND FORK, WV

A warming station, located at the Gilmer County VFD at 606 W Main Street in Glenville is available, but you must call the Gilmer County Office of Emergency Services at 304-462-0400 to inform them of your arrival. This warming station will not provide sleeping facilities. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we continue to work to maintain your service in a safe and timely manner.

Hope Gas crews continue to investigate and resolve issues in the Sand Fork area. Customers may experience temporary service disruptions. Crews will remain on-site until the problem is resolved and service is fully restored as soon as possible.

If you experience an outage, please call Hope Gas at 1-800-934-3187 to report this. Once we have adequate pressure in our system, one of our Hope Gas Representatives will contact you to restore your gas service if you have reported the loss of your service.
