Hope Gas crews are going door to door to relight appliances. Please do not attempt to relight appliances on your own.
If you are not home when Hope Gas personnel arrive to relight appliances, please contact the Hope Gas Customer Contact Center at 1-800-688-HOPE (4673). We will schedule a visit to your home to relight appliances.
As part of the process to restore service and relight home appliances following a service disruption, Hope Gas personnel will conduct safety checks of pipelines and natural gas equipment such as meters, service lines and appliances. Should Hope Gas personnel identify safety issues, repairs will need to be made. If the safety issue is on Hope Gas owned equipment, such as the main line or meter, Hope Gas will cover all costs associated with the repair. However, there is a chance there are safety issues with the house lines or appliances that are owned by the customer. In this case, Hope Gas will not restore service until repairs are made. The cost of repairs will be the customer’s responsibility.
