Welcome to Hope Gas! Your safety is our top priority!

Hope Gas acquired Consumers Gas in September of 2024. Starting on August 1, 2025, all former Consumers Gas customers will be fulling transitioned to the Hope Gas systems for customer service, billing and online account management. 

Your emergency number and customer service number changed on August 1, 2025. In case of an emergency, contact the Hope Gas 24/7 emergency hotline at 1-800-934-3187.

Call our West Virginia customer service team with your service or billing inquiries at 1-800-688-HOPE (4673). The Hope Gas Customer Contact Center is open Monday to Friday: 8 am - 5 pm EST. 

Also, your account will switch from Consumers Gas to Hope Gas. To manage your account online, you will need to sign up for the Hope Gas MyAccount portal. You will have an account with Hope Gas, but your online customer portal will not be automatically transferred from Consumers Gas.

Your new Hope Gas account number will be available on your first bill from Hope Gas. The bill you receive after August 1 will contain your NEW account number. You can enroll in MyAccount by selecting the MyAccount tab under Pay Bill and use your new account number to create a new profile.

  • Make a payment online
  • Set up Auto Pay
  • View your bills
    • Enroll in the Budget Billing plan: Hope Gas's Budget Billing Program takes the previous 12-month history of usage and divides these evenly to create an estimated monthly amount, making it easier to manage your budget.
