Jonell Carver
Chief Administrative Officer
With over 25 years of experience in West Virginia’s oil and gas industry, Jonell Carver is the Chief Administrative officer for Hope Gas and Hope Utilities. She has held a variety of roles throughout her career spanning from the fields of engineering, pipeline integrity, and all aspects of operations of transmission, storage, gathering, and distribution systems.
As CAO, Jonell is responsible for human resources, safety and training, facilities, and compliance for all of Hope Utilities in West Virginia, Ohio, North Carolina, and Indiana.
Carver is a native of southern West Virginia and a graduate of Oak Hill High School in Fayette County. She graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering and immediately started her energy career as a design engineer for Dominion Energy.
Carver serves as a board member of the SGA Natural Gas Association and West Virginia Education Alliance, where she champions its mission to educate the youth of West Virginia about the vast opportunities available to them right in their backyard. She nourishes that commitment to family and the next generation with her own three boys – AJ, Ben, and Bowen. They reside on Turtle Ridge Farm in Doddridge County, West Virginia, where she raises alpacas, llamas, chickens and Anatolian Shepherds. Her passion and perseverance in the oil and gas industry, combined with her love of West Virginia and excitement for its future, drive her to continue to grow and enhance Hope Gas operations which in turn fosters the ability to drive best in class operations in our other states with Frontier Natural Gas in NC, Sycamore Natural Gas in Indiana, and Northeast Ohio Natural Gas in Ohio.
