For over a century Hope Gas has been a foundational energy provider in West Virginia, deeply invested in the state's future. Founded in 1898, the company operated under multiple names, including Dominion Energy West Virginia, until it proudly reclaimed its original name, Hope Gas, in 2022.
As the only utility company with its corporate headquarters in West Virginia, our leadership team is dedicated to providing the highest quality service to our neighbors, investing in expanded opportunities, and creating family-sustaining jobs throughout the Mountain State.
