Laura Seybold

Senior Vice President, Culture & Talent Development

Laura is senior vice president, Culture & Talent Development, at Hope Gas and Hope Utilities, where she supports a unified culture with values aligned to a strong and unique purpose. Additionally, she is responsible for leadership and career development.

 

Laura’s interests have always focused on the intersection of economics and people. She specializes in bridging the gap between business and people strategy and focuses her expertise on nurturing and maximizing potential within organizations, teams and individuals in the areas of culture, leadership and career. 

 

Laura is passionate about leadership development, recognizing its profound impact on employee engagement and retention and organizational culture. She excels at teaching and coaching leaders to enhance their positive influence.

 

Laura spent 20 years in human capital roles for businesses from start-ups to Fortune 200s. In 2019 she founded Shine Consulting, an executive coaching and consulting firm focused on enabling individuals, teams, and organizations to reach their greatest potential. She formerly hosted a podcast, “Leadership ReDiscovered,” where she interviewed leaders from diverse industries and backgrounds to share their lessons learned along their leadership journeys.

 

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Wright State University and an Executive MBA from West Virginia University. Currently Laura serves on the Advisory Council for the John Chambers College of Business at West Virginia University and is a strategic partner for the nonprofit organization Libera.

 

Laura resides with her family on a farm in West Virginia.
