Our Team

With over 25 years of IT experience, Nagy Nagiub is Hope Gas and Hope Utilities’ Senior Vice President, Customer Service, Operations & CIO. Nagy is responsible for managing all field operations related to Hope’s distribution, gathering and transmission infrastructure. He also leads all aspects of the day-to-day operations of Hope’s customer service initiatives, customer contact center, billing and IT. 

In this role, Nagy ensures company technology systems are developed and implemented in a way that ensures the highest level of customer service and supports the daily work of hundreds of field operations employees. 

Before joining Hope Utilities, Nagiub was senior director of corporate services for Peoples Gas in Pittsburgh, where he helped lead the company’s transition from an operating utility supported by Dominion Energy to an independent utility, achieving improvements in technology and customer service through the transformation. Before his work at Peoples, Nagiub was lead of voice systems for Duquesne Light Co. 

Originally from Egypt, Nagy holds an electrical engineering degree from Ain Shams University. He moved to the U.S. in 1999, where he lives with his wife, Lynda, and their daughter, Maya. Outside work, he enjoys fitness, time with his three dogs, and volunteering to teach English to Syrian refugees.
