Ruth DeLost-Wylie
Senior Vice President and Chief Construction Officer
As Senior Vice President and Chief Construction Officer of Hope Gas and Hope Utilities, Ruth is responsible for our safety, training, and construction projects in West Virginia, Ohio, North Carolina, and Indiana.
Ruth holds more than 30 years of experience in Information Technology specializing in utility services. Before joining Hope Gas in 2023, she led her IT department through multiple major system conversions and implementations for electric, gas, and water utilities. Ruth has also managed customer service, billing, credit and collection, construction, corporate services, human resources, and legal.
Acclaimed in her field, DeLost-Wylie has received multiple awards, including Pittsburgh’s 2023 CIO Lifetime Achievement Award, Pittsburgh’s 2012 Enterprise Sector CIO of the Year Award, and the 2015 Pittsburgh BusinessWomen First Award. She serves on the Pittsburgh Technology Council, is an active member of the United Way’s Women’s Leadership Council, and is Vice Chair of Leadership Pittsburgh’s board.
